The design of the module provides a channel of Casting and a number of diverse small airways, aiming at eliminating the gas entrapped in the Casting due to high temperatures, the main reason for causing the porosity. To avoid the possibility that the piece and the module unite in one, it is possible for a special insulating vernice to be used.
Following the Casting of the liquid material (metal), the piece is immersed by gravity forces, allowing it to become cool and take a solid form.
Finally the semi-finished product is obtained, dispatched for ultimate industrial production processes such as, per example, the forging, or the millwork, or otherwise to be directed through various processes for chip removing.
